After class, Shelby goes alone to the cafeteria and takes out the meal her dietitian recommended. Dorcas and Cassiopรฉe join her. The scene notes that Shelby seems calmer after recently confiding the traumatic experience that has been weighing on her, placing the new assignment in a period when speaking about the past has brought some relief.
Plans taking shape

Shelby becomes absorbed in this possibility and fails to notice Dorcas and Cassiopรฉe calling her. Cassiopรฉe has to pass a hand in front of Shelbyโs eyes to draw her attention back; she then asks Shelby, laughing, whether she wants to accompany her to the station the next day.
